What are Cast Iron Foundry services? The process is simple. It only comprises three basic steps once the mould had been built: melting, casting, and finishing.
The design of the mould is custom to create the product. After the mould is filled with molten metal, the material is spread evenly within the mould. It cools down and solidifies. Finishing is required if there are imperfections or marks on the surface of the castings.
